Questions

Is my Wi-Fi password safe?

Your password is turned into a code right in your browser and never sent anywhere. Anyone who can scan the printed code can join, just like anyone who reads a password off a card — so put it where you would put the card.

Which phones can scan a Wi-Fi QR code?

iPhones (iOS 11 and later) and Android phones can join straight from the camera app. Older phones may need a QR scanner app.

What if I change my Wi-Fi password?

Make a new code. The password is stored inside the code, so an old code keeps the old password.

Do these QR codes expire?

No. The link or text is stored inside the code itself, with nothing in between, so it keeps working for as long as the thing it points to exists. There is no trial, no subscription and no server that could switch it off.

Is it really free? Is there a watermark?

Yes, it is free with no sign-up, no watermark and no limits on how many codes you make. Everything runs in your browser, so it costs us nothing to give away. Qrio is a free tool by Doetra.
