Questions
Do I need WhatsApp Business?
No. It works with any WhatsApp number — personal or Business.
Does the person need to save my number first?
No. The code opens a chat with your number straight away; they only tap Send.
How do I write the number?
Start with your country code and leave out the leading zero, e.g. 880 1712 345678 for Bangladesh. Spaces, dashes and the plus sign are removed for you.
Do these QR codes expire?
No. The link or text is stored inside the code itself, with nothing in between, so it keeps working for as long as the thing it points to exists. There is no trial, no subscription and no server that could switch it off.
Is it really free? Is there a watermark?
Yes, it is free with no sign-up, no watermark and no limits on how many codes you make. Everything runs in your browser, so it costs us nothing to give away. Qrio is a free tool by Doetra.
