Captions that pop. No watermark.
Drop a video — Capsy writes the captions on your device, word by word, in the style Reels and Shorts use. Fix any word, then download an MP4 with the captions burned in, or an SRT.

Captions that read like captions
The same 15 seconds of real speech — plain auto-subtitles, and Capsy. Capsy times every word, so lines break where the speaker pauses and stay short enough to read.

Questions
What makes these captions better than auto-subtitles elsewhere?
Capsy uses the timing of every single word, so captions break where the speaker pauses, stay short enough to read (about 26 characters), and can highlight the word being spoken. Repeated lines that speech AI sometimes invents are removed.
Is it really free? Is there a watermark?
Yes, it is free with no watermark, no sign-up and no monthly minutes. The captions are written on your own device, so there is no server cost to pass on. Capsy is a free tool by Doetra.
Is my video uploaded anywhere?
No. The video is opened, captioned and exported in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server — even the speech recognition runs on your device.
How long does it take?
The first time, the speech AI loads in the background (once; after that it is cached). Captioning then takes roughly a quarter to a half of the video’s length on a laptop; the MP4 export takes about as long as the clip.
Can I fix a wrong word?
Yes. Every caption is listed beside the video — tap it, retype, and the timing stays in sync. Click a time to jump the video there.
Which languages work?
Around 100 spoken languages, including English, Bangla, Hindi, Urdu, Arabic and Spanish. Pick the language or leave it on auto-detect. You can also translate the speech into English captions.
