Questions
Is a signature added this way legally valid?
For most everyday documents — rental agreements, forms, letters — an electronic signature you add yourself is accepted. Some contracts need a certified digital signature; check with the person asking you to sign.
Can I reuse my signature?
Yes. Your signature is saved in your own browser so you can place it again next time. It never leaves your device.
Is it really free? Are there daily limits?
Yes, it is free with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily task limit. Everything runs in your browser, so it costs us nothing to give away. Quill is a free tool by Doetra.
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. Your file is opened, edited and saved on your own device. Nothing is sent to a server — that is also why it is fast.
Will it work on my phone?
Yes. Quill works in modern browsers on Android and iPhone; the page fits your screen and the tools sit in a bar at the bottom.
