Questions
Why can’t Windows open my iPhone photos?
iPhones save photos as HEIC. Windows needs an extra add-on to show them, and many programs cannot open them at all. Converting to JPG fixes this for good.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It works in your browser on Windows, Mac, Linux, Android and iPhone. Add the photos, then download the JPGs one by one or as a zip.
Is it free? Is there a limit?
Yes, it is free: up to 50 photos at a time and 50 MB each, no daily cap, no sign-up and no watermark. Unheic is a free tool by Doetra.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Every photo is converted in your browser, on your own device. Nothing is sent to a server, and the location saved in the photo is removed from the result.
