Questions
How many letters can a text favicon have?
One to three. At 16 pixels, a browser tab has room for little more than that, so short initials read best.
Is the SVG a real vector?
Yes. For letters, icon.svg is built from the font’s real outlines, so it stays sharp at any size.
Is it free? Is there a limit?
Yes, it is free: make as many icon packs as you like, with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily cap. The icons are yours to use on any site or app. Tabby is a free tool by Doetra.
Is my logo uploaded?
No. Your image, letters or emoji are turned into icons in your browser, on your own device. Nothing is sent to a server.
